January 2010 Progress

January has seen the completion of a new concrete floor for the two end classrooms at Anuwitayalai Prey Srolit School.

The floor -- a stark contrast from the previous mixture of earth and crumbling cement -- was a lovely surprise for the children who were invited to test it out shortly after the concrete set!

This phase of the project also included drainage wells, which will be vital during the rainy season later on in the year.

What's Next?

The next item on the agenda is to build a low wall around the perimeter of the school. See the main project page for future updates.
